About Lauren
Hi, I'm Lauren! I'm a stay at home mother of two children, ages 7 and 9. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in the fall of 2020, although I can trace my symptoms back to the birth of my first child in 2016. Like most fibro patients, it took me many doctors visits and wrong diagnoses before identifying a fibromyalgia diagnosis.
Shortly after my diagnosis, I discovered the Fibromyalgia Podcast® and soon hired a fibromyalgia coach of my own. I knew that in order to be the parent I wanted to be, I needed to get better as quickly as possible. Hiring a coach allowed me to focus on improving my health and getting better as quickly as possible, while home schooling my children.
This experience made me want to pass along the support and knowledge that I have acquired to other moms who feel overwhelmed and need guidance to improve their parenting and health situations.
At age 6, each of my children went through neuropsychological evaluations that determined that their brains and bodies function differently. Parenting while having a chronic illness is difficult enough, but when those children have neurodivergent brains (including, but not limited to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing differences, and anxiety) it is a whole new level of challenging.
I want to use my expertise to help you thrive as a parent, while guiding you through your healing journey.
